Eminem Stalker Found Guilty After Breaking Into Rapper’s Home Twice
The man who broke into Eminem’s home on two separate occasions has officially been found guilty on multiple charges, including stalking and home invasion.
According to reports, a jury recently convicted Matthew David Hughes after he was seen trespassing on the rapper’s Detroit-area property last August, an incident that led to his arrest just days later.
This wasn’t Hughes’ first run-in with the law involving the artist. His initial break-in happened back in April 2020, when he reportedly smashed a window with a brick and entered the home while Eminem was asleep. The rapper awoke to find Hughes in his living room before authorities arrived. At the time, Hughes reportedly told media outlets he was there to kill the award-winning rapper.

Despite the severity of that first encounter, Hughes was sentenced to probation and time served. He’s now facing sentencing for the most recent conviction on June 17.
Eminem, real name is Marshall Mathers, has not publicly commented on the case’s outcome.
