Keke Palmer Fires Back At Ex Darius Jackson In New Single: ‘These Are My Confessions’
Keke Palmer is addressing the fallout with her baby daddy and the viral Usher moment in her new song “My Confession.”
Inspired by Usher’s “Confessions Part II,” the track revisits the 2023 drama when Darius Jackson, Keke Palmer’s ex and father of her child, criticized her outfit after she was serenaded by Usher.
“My fans was dragging you because you had the nerve,” she sings.
Keke Palmer, who later starred in Usher’s “Boyfriend” video, says the new song is “me giving voice to the feelings I buried.” It’s a blunt, emotional release: “F**k your projections. These are my confessions.”
