Former ‘Apprentice’ Star Omarosa Finally Graduates w/ Law & Business Degrees After Delaying Dream For Reality TV Career: ‘It’s Deeply Personal For Me’
From reality TV to the courtroom, Omarosa Manigault Newman has fulfilled a dream decades in the making. On May 17, “The Apprentice” alum graduated from Southern University Law Center with both her JD and MBA degrees.
“Graduating with my JD/MBA degree is a culmination of a promise I made to myself — to never give up on my dreams,” she told People. “It’s deeply personal for me in terms of the power of perseverance.”
Omarosa recalled originally planning to attend Howard Law after her master’s, even asking then-President Bill Clinton for a recommendation. But “life had other plans” after her casting on “The Apprentice” in 2004.
Despite a full career in TV and the White House, she never let go of her law school dream. She now plans to sharpen her litigation skills at The Cochran Firm.
