Footage circulating online shows the Detroit artist making a surprise guest appearance at fellow rapper 42 Dugg’s recent show in their hometown, just days after being grazed by g*nfire in an apparent attempted hit.

Skilla, real name Trevon Gardner, appeared energized, performing with one hand on the mic and the other in a sling.

As previously reported, the 26-year-old was reportedly struck three times in what police are calling a “targeted drive-by shooting.” After the attack, he crashed his vehicle but was confirmed to be in stable condition and expected to survive.

Judging by this latest appearance, Skilla Baby is doing more than just surviving, he’s pushing forward, proving that even recovery won’t keep him off the stage.
