President Trump Commutes Sentence Of 74-Year-Old Former Chicago Gang Leader Larry Hoover
President Donald Trump is making headlines for his latest commutation.
According to reports, the former reality TV host has commuted the sentence of Larry Hoover, 74, who has been behind bars for decades. Hoover is infamously known for being the co-founder of Chicago gang, the Gangster Disciples. He was initially sentenced to life plus 200 years in prison for the 1973 murder of 19-year-old William Young. However, in 1997, following an intense, years-long investigation, Hoover received additional life terms for extortion, money laundering, drug-related offenses, and continuing to engage in a criminal enterprise.
