Baylor Univ. Football Player Alex Foster Fatally $hot In Mississippi
Alex Foster, an 18-year-old freshman Baylor University football player, was $hot and k*lled early Wednesday morning (May 28) in Greenville, Mississippi.
Greenville Police responded shortly after midnight and found him inside a car with multiple g*nshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later d*ed.
Baylor’s Athletic Director Mack B. Rhoades IV and Head Coach Dave Aranda confirmed his passing in a joint statement: “We are heartbroken by the unexpected loss of Alex Foster. Our deepest condolences are with Alex’s family and all who loved him… Alex’s memory will forever be part of our hearts and this program.”
The $hooting comes amid what Greenville Mayor Errick D. Simmons described as a “surge in v*olent crimes.” In response, the city has implemented a 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew.
Foster was a standout defensive lineman, ranked among Mississippi’s top-20 prospects and listed as the No. 69 defensive lineman in the country by 247Sports.
