Beyoncé Could Finally Win Her First Emmy After Earning Nominations For NFL Christmas Halftime Show
Looks like Beyoncé may finally snag her first-ever Emmy Award!
The superstar just scored another shot at the coveted honor thanks to her Netflix NFL Christmas Day Halftime Show, Beyoncé Bowl, which earned nominations in categories such as Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Variety Special (Live).
However, she’s got some serious competition. The Cowboy Carter hitmaker is going head-to-head with SNL 50: The Anniversary Special, SNL 50: The Homecoming Concert, The Oscars, and The Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show starring Kendrick Lamar. Last year, The Oscars took home the trophy in this category, beating out halftime shows featuring Usher and other awards shows such as The Grammys and The Tonys.

Still, this isn’t Beyoncé’s first Emmy rodeo. She’s been nominated several times in the past, including for her iconic Lemonade visual album, her Homecoming documentary, her On The Run Tour special, and even her unforgettable 2013 Super Bowl performance. Despite the acclaim, she’s yet to bring home a win.
Could Beyoncé Bowl finally break the streak? If recent history is any sign, like 2022’s win for the Dr. Dre-led Super Bowl halftime show, she just might have a real shot.
Would you love to see Bey finally take home an Emmy?
