Trey Songz’s Legal Team Pushes Back On Assault Allegations: ‘The Media Is Unfairly Turning An Unfinished Story Into Clickbait’
Trey Songz is pushing back against the narrative surrounding new assault allegations, with his legal team accusing the media of spinning an “unfinished story” into clickbait.
Attorney Ted Anastasiou told TMZ:
“The media is unfairly turning an unfinished story into clickbait to sell a new headline. That’s lazy and unfair. What happened at The Ivy was the result of increasingly aggressive paparazzi invading an artist’s personal space… Trey disputes the characterization of events, is cooperating fully with authorities, and looks forward to the facts, not speculation, speaking for themselves.”

This comes after videographer Isaa Mansoor accused Trey of punching him in the head and shoving him into a wall outside The Ivy in Huntington, NY, early Sunday morning (July 13). Mansoor later filed a police report and was treated at the hospital for a concussion, migraine, and other injuries. Authorities have launched an investigation.
