Drake Says He’s In Album Mode For Upcoming ‘Iceman’ Project + Teases Personal Revelations: ‘We Got A Lot To Talk About’
Drake says he has a lot to unpack on his upcoming album, “Iceman.”
While performing in Birmingham, England, the rapper paused to share an update with fans.
“You know I’m working on my album ‘Iceman.’ We got a lot to talk about, so I’m looking forward to it,” Drake said in a fan-recorded clip posted to social media.
This follows a February tease in Australia, where he told the crowd, “Eventually, when the time is right, Drizzy Drake alone by himself is gonna have to have a one-on-one talk to y’all.”
The project’s first single, “What Did I Miss?,” debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and finds Drake addressing fallout from his high-profile feud with Kendrick Lamar.
The track already hints that former allies may be in the lyrical crosshairs.
Though there’s still no official release date or tracklist, fans can expect the album to serve as a personal and revealing chapter in Drake’s career.
Do you think Drake will redeem himself?
