Kelly Clarkson Postpones Las Vegas Residency To Support Kids Amid Ex’s Illness
Kelly Clarkson is hitting pause on her Las Vegas residency to be present for her children while her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, deals with an illness.
On her Instagram, Clarkson wrote, “Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas.”
She added, “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill, and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them.”

The singer apologized to fans, saying, “I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows, and I so appreciate your grace, kindness, and understanding.”
Clarkson was set to perform 18 shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from July through November, but had already delayed the start due to vocal issues. She managed to perform the first show a week later.
Clarkson and Blackstock divorced in 2022 and share two children.
