G Herbo Opens Up About How Therapy Helped Him Cope w/ Fear Of Leaving Home w/o A Gun
G Herbo is getting candid about the intense fear he once felt when leaving his home.
During an appearance on The Truth After Dark podcast, hosted by former NBA player Paul Pierce and media personality Azar Farideh, the Chicago rapper opened up about a conversation he had with his lawyer after gaining success in his career. At the time, his attorney urged him to stop carrying a firearm, especially since he was already facing an open criminal case.

Herbo, whose real name is Herbert Randall Wright III, admitted he was hesitant to follow that advice due to fear for his safety. He said: “I’m in fear of my life everywhere I go. I’ve been like this since I was 15 years old. Since I was 15, I ain’t never left the house without a g*n.”
His lawyer eventually suggested he seek professional help and recommended therapy, something Herbo said helped him significantly.
