Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez Claims Daughter Tried To Force $10 Million Payout Using Social Media Bots & Defamatory Posts

Desiree Perez is accusing her daughter and son-in-law of trying to force her into a multimillion-dollar payout.

According to court documents obtained by AllHipHop, the Roc Nation CEO claims her daughter, Demoree Hadley, and son-in-law, Javon Hadley, launched a “ruthless” online campaign against her with the help of their attorney, Hilton Napoleon. Perez’s legal team says the couple used “fabricated evidence, defamatory content, and social media bots” to damage her reputation and pressure her into settling for millions.

The dispute began after Demoree sued Perez, alleging that her mother abused Florida’s Baker Act and Marchman Act to have her committed despite testing negative for dr*gs. She also accused Perez of interfering in her marriage by fabricating claims of domestic v*olence.

Perez’s attorneys pushed back, pointing to jailhouse recordings of Javon Hadley. In one call, he reportedly said, “We’re gonna make her settle. It’s a payday.”

They also accuse the Hadleys of defying a gag order by allegedly promoting the hashtag Justice For Demoree. Perez’s attorney, Barbara A. Martinez, said, “Millions of ‘JusticeForDemoree’ related posts and reposts have flooded social media, propagated by bots and content creators known to be paid for negative posts and false narratives.”

Martinez added that Perez’s only concern has always been her daughter’s safety: “Ms. Perez’s sole motivation at all times has been to rescue Ms. Hadley from a situation in which she was being beaten, coerced, and abused by Mr. Hadley.”

Perez is now seeking dismissal of the case, legal fees, and restrictions on the Hadleys’ social media activity.
