Sports Commentator Joy Taylor Speaks On The FS1 Sex Scandal: ‘It Definitely Broke Me In A Lot Of Ways’ [VIDEO]
Joy Taylor is speaking out about her mental health after being caught up in the alleged sex scandal at #FS1 earlier this year.
In January, former Fox Sports staffer Noushin Faraji accused Skip Bayless, Taylor, and others at the network of creating a toxic work environment. Faraji also claimed Taylor landed her role on Undisputed because of a sexual relationship with an executive. The media storm that followed led to Taylor being temporarily sidelined from Speak, which has since been canceled.
Appearing on #CamNewton’s Funky Friday podcast, Taylor opened up about the toll it took: “I’m much better now than I was obviously at the beginning of the year. It’s been a unique experience for me in my life. I’ve been through a lot of sh*t in my life, but this one was different.”

She continued, “This was a moment that really quieted my spirit, and it definitely broke me in a lot of ways, but I’ll be a different person. I’ll never be the same.”
Taylor admitted there were “definitely very, very dark” moments but said leaning on loved ones, therapy, medication, and working out helped her get through.
Despite the challenges, the sports analyst said she’s proud of what she’s achieved in her career: “My goal was to do a daily opinion show where my voice mattered as much as the men at the table. And I was able to do that at the highest level, at the network level.”
