Parents Plead For Safe Return Of Missing 19-Year-Old Daughter DaCara Thompson

The search is on for DaCara Rose Thompson.

On August 22, 19-year-old #DaCaraThompson was last seen getting out of her 2013 white Ford Edge at a Shell gas station in #Lanham, MD.

Her car was later found abandoned in #Hyattsville, with her personal belongings, including her purse, keys, credit cards, and $60 in cash, still inside, while her phone has been disabled.

Her mother, Carmen Thompson, broke down in tears as she described the days since DaCara has disappeared as “hard.” Loved ones, neighbors, and members of the community gathered for a prayer vigil at the site where her car was found, pleading for answers and for DaCara’s safe return. They also passed out missing person flyers in the area DaCara was last seen.

The Prince George’s County Police Department is treating this case as a priority and continues to investigate. Anyone with information is urged to call 301-772-8970.
