Chicago-Based Rapper MAF Teeski Arrested After Reportedly Striking Girlfriend With A Closed Fist Multiple Times’ In Front Of Her Child

#Chicago rap artist MAF Teeski was arrested Monday (Nov. 24) and hit with charges including dome$tic battery by bodily waste in the presence of a child under 16, along with interference with reporting a crime.

Officers responded to an unfinished 911 call about a physical altercation between #MAFTeeski and his girlfriend. When they arrived, they found the woman and her 13-year-old child outside the home, with Teesk reportedly “barricaded” inside. When officers eventually got him to leave the residence, he exited with his hands raised and was taken into custody. He claimed that his girlfriend slapped him and said he only reacted after a “scuffle,” TMZ reports.

However, the child told police that while playing video games, he heard his mom screaming and, upon entering her room, saw Teeski on top of his mother, pinning her and striking her “with a closed fist multiple times.” The mom reportedly fled the room by pulling Teeski’s hair and escaped outside with her child. Officers say she had “multiple lacerations to her face, specifically on her right cheek bone/nose, with deep bruising/open wounds” and appeared to be in severe pain.

Police also reviewed security-camera footage that allegedly showed Teeski striking the woman, grabbing her phone and tossing it as she tried to reach dispatch. Teeski was booked into the Hamilton County Jail that same night but was released the next day after posting a $10,000 cash or surety bond. A no-contact order has been issued, and he is due back in court in January.
