Bad Bunny Becomes Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artist, Ending Taylor Swift’s Reign
And suddenly it’s real quiet from the folks who claimed nobody knows #BadBunny.
The #SuperBowl LX Halftime Show headliner is back on top! According to Spotify Wrapped 2025, Bad Bunny has reclaimed the title of global most-streamed artist this year, racking up more than 19.8 billion streams, dethroning #TaylorSwift, who held the crown in 2023 and 2024. This marks Bad Bunny’s fourth time leading the global chart overall (he previously topped the list in 2020, 2021, and 2022).
He also came in first for the most-streamed album globally, thanks to his Debí Tirar Más Fotos project. Meanwhile, Taylor remained the most-streamed artist in the U.S., followed by #Drake, Morgan Wallen, #KendrickLamar, and Bad Bunny.
Considering the backlash after Bad Bunny was announced as the #SuperBowlLX Halftime Show headliner, are you surprised by this outcome?
