Todd Tucker Defends Steamy S3x Promo For New Film After Mixed Reactions, Says Shamea Morton & Cast Knew What Roles Entailed: ‘It’s Acting’

Todd Tucker, TV and film producer and husband of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, is addressing mixed reactions surrounding a steamy promotional clip for his latest film, Don’t Bring Your Man To Atlanta.

Tucker has been promoting the project on social media, including sharing a provocative scene featuring current RHOA star Shamea Morton. In one post, he joked, “I may direct the best sex scenes!” while encouraging followers to purchase tickets. The clip drew plenty of reactions, with some viewers questioning both the scene and Tucker’s decision to use it to promote the film.

Tucker has since responded to the chatter, stressing that “it’s acting” and explaining that cast members, including Morton, are told before filming what the movie and their roles will entail. According to Tucker, actors know what is expected of them before agreeing to participate in the project.

He’s also leaning into the attention surrounding the film. Tucker used a throwback RHOA clip involving Morton and male entertainer Bolo in another promotion, writing, “Shamea’s husband got pissed when he saw this scene with Bolo.”

What do y’all think — are people taking the movie scenes too seriously?
