NBA YoungBoy Avoids Charges & Arrest After Dr*gs Were Discovered During Traffic Stop
#NBAYoungBoy appears to be having a great start to 2026.
The rapper, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was a passenger in a vehicle stopped by Utah Highway Patrol where dr*gs were found, authorities confirmed. The stop happened on Interstate 15 in Utah County on Dec. 31, around 4:30?p.m., when a trooper pulled the car over for a traffic violation and then conducted a probable cause search that uncovered illicit dr*gs.
The vehicle had three occupants: a male driver, a female passenger, and #YoungBoy. After the dr*gs were found, the driver and the other passenger both claimed ownership of the substances, and charges are now being reviewed by the Utah County Attorney’s Office for those two. According to reports, YoungBoy was not arrested and faces no charges at this time.
