Surgery
Prayers up for Egypt Sherrod!
#HGTV personality #EgyptSherrod took to Instagram to explain her recent absence from social media and give fans a health update after a difficult end to 2025. Sherrod revealed she had been recovering from an unspecified procedure and “had to step away from the world” for weeks to “focus fully on healing after surgery.” Just as she began to feel better, she suffered a freak accident: “a literal piece of marble fell on my foot and shattered two of my toes. TWO. The devil is absolutely a liar.”
Despite the painful injury, Sherrod shared a positive outlook and said she’s already up and walking without a cast or boot. She framed her experience in hopeful terms for 2026, noting it happened in 2025 and saying, “No carryover. None.” Sherrod added, “This season is about dreams realized, dead weight released, walls and ceilings shattered, and doors kicked wide open… even if I have to kick in those d*mn doors with broken toes.” Following the update, fans sent supportive messages, wishing Sherrod a speedy recovery.
