Lil Wayne Issues Apology To Caleb Williams After Dissing Chicago Bears QB For Painting His
Nails
#LilWayne isn’t afraid to apologize when it’s due.
The rapper took to X this morning (Jan. 14) to send a positive message to #ChicagoBears QB Caleb Williams, writing, “Ay Caleb don’t mind me bruh I’m just a cheesehead 4life & u just a killa & ya kilt us bad each time & 4 dat u get da praise gesture from me!” He added, “I luh da game & it’d b impossible 2make dat statement without acknowledging & admiring yo game king! U a beast but ya still a bear.”
Wayne’s kind words followed a dramatically different post after the Green Bay Packers’ playoff loss to the Bears. A longtime #Packers fan, Wayne had vented his frustration, saying, “We just loss a playoff game to a n*gg* w purple nails we fkn suk bear azz! Bare *ss!!! We don’t deserve to be in the playoffs. Straight like that.” That initial post drew backlash, with many accusing Wayne of being a sore loser. Looks like Caleb, however, is just ready to move on. The NFLer responded to Wayne’s apology with, “Weez it’s all love. #BearDown tho.”
