“Half & Half’ Star Rachel True Demands Apologies From Celebs Who Said Electing A Black President Ended Racism
#RachelTrue wants those who claimed racism in America was over to step to the front of the classroom.
Taking to X to voice her frustration, the Half & Half star wrote, “Still waiting for an apology from Hollywood people who said with a straight face that there was no more racism simply because we had elected a Black president & then got mad at me for pushing back.” She added, “All of them are quiet right now — because they’ve moved out of the country.”
True’s comments come amid heightened tension under the Trump administration, including the recent k!lling of U.S. citizen Alex Pretti by #ICE agents in Minneapolis, which has sparked widespread outrage and protests. While Rachel didn’t place names on the callout, since Trump has taken office, several stars have shared their move overseas.
