NeNe Leakes Wonders If There’s Still Room For Her On “Housewives” Following Major Life Changes, Says Her Story’s ‘Even More Interesting’ Now

As the saying goes, never say never.

Fans have been pushing for #NeNeLeakes to make her return to #RHOA ever since she walked away at the end of Season 12 back in 2020. At the time, drama behind the scenes, including allegations and a legal battle, seemed to shut the door on her relationship with Bravo. But now, things appear to be cooling off, with NeNe set to pop up on the upcoming season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Naturally, that’s got folks wondering if this is the network’s way of testing the waters for a full-blown peach-holder comeback.

In a recent chat with Vulture, NeNe even floated the idea herself, asking, “Realistically speaking, is there a space for me on Housewives?” She went on to break down just how much her life has changed since her last run, saying, “I was married, and everybody knows my husband passed away. My youngest son has had a heart transplant, and he’s now a first-time dad. My oldest son’s daughter is now a teenager. We used to live in a mansion in a suburb; I now live in a high-rise in the city. I date an African guy.”

Still, all that change might be exactly why a return makes sense. NeNe didn’t shy away from answering her own question either, adding, “If they wanted there to be a place for me, there will be a place. Because it’s not like my story is any less interesting than it was then; it’s probably even more interesting.”
