Biggie Smalls’ Son CJ Wallace Wins Default Judgment After Producer Jonathan Hay Allegedly Claimed He Had S*xual Encounters w/ Diddy
CJ Wallace, the son of late rap icon Biggie Smalls, also known as The Notorious B.I.G., has officially scored a legal victory in his defamation case against former producer and Hollywood publicist Jonathan Hay after a judge ruled in Wallace’s favor following a series of damaging public accusations.
According to Baller Alert, the dispute stemmed from interviews Hay conducted last year in which he made explosive claims involving Wallace and Sean “Diddy” Combs. Hay alleged Wallace engaged in s*xual encounters with Combs, witnessed illegal activity at events connected to the Bad Boy founder, and played a role in circumstances that allegedly led to Hay being a$$aulted.
Wallace’s attorneys pushed back hard against the accusations, describing the situation as a “calculated smear campaign” motivated by resentment after the pair’s working relationship deteriorated.
The two previously collaborated on the 2020 remix “Ready to Dance,” though plans for a larger project eventually collapsed. Wallace reportedly blamed Hay’s “erratic behavior” and creative differences for ending the partnership.
The case ultimately ended in Wallace’s favor after Hay failed to respond to repeated legal notices. Court filings stated process servers attempted to reach Hay at multiple Florida properties seventeen times before the court proceeded with a default judgment.
Although the defamation battle has concluded, Hay still has a separate civil complaint pending in Los Angeles related to similar allegations.
