Yandy Smith Faces Mendeecees Harris In Emotional Conversation —He Admits ‘My Pride Got In The Way’ Amid Separation

Mendeecees Harris and Yandy Smith are getting painfully honest about the state of their marriage.

During a difficult conversation on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta,” the longtime couple opened up about their separation and the emotional pain that led them to where they are now. Mendeecees admitted that the past year has been rough and said he is still struggling with how things unfolded between them.

“You know, I know it has been a very rough year for us. To this day, I’m just shocked the way things turned out,” he said.

Mendeecees explained that he believed everything he was doing was meant to bring them back together. However, he admitted that his pride got in the way after Yandy’s emotional connection with someone else left him feeling hurt and rejected.

“My pride got in the way, and I act a fool, and I regret it,” he confessed.

Yandy responded by saying that hearing those words earlier may have changed everything.

“It’s weird because I feel like if you would have just said these words seven months ago, you would have still been in the house,” she said.

The conversation became even more emotional as Yandy told him she still sees the man she fell in love with — “sweet, kind, vulnerable” — but questioned where that version of him had been.

Mendeecees also broke down the pain of leaving, saying it felt like he was walking away from his children too.

“Leaving you felt like it was leaving my kids too. The hardest thing I ever had to do in my life,” he said.

Despite this rough patch, Mendeecees expressed his love for Yandy.
