The 11-time Olympic medalist called the ordeal one of the scariest experiences of her life and noted that her husband, Jonathan Owens, was away in Indianapolis for football practice when it happened.

While Biles did not disclose what caused the emergency, she shared that she has spent the week resting in bed as she recovers. She also thanked friends, family members, and loved ones who checked on her, visited, and sent flowers during the difficult week.
