Boosie Files Lawsuit, Claims He Paid $600K For Trump Pardon That Didn’t Happen

Boosie Badazz was seemingly scammed while trying to secure a presidential pardon.

#Boosie is suing political operatives Jacob Wohl and Jack Burkman after paying them $600,000 to help secure a presidential pardon from #DonaldTrump that ultimately never materialized, according to a report from NOTUS. Boosie says the pair struck the deal with him last fall, presenting themselves as having serious connections inside Trump’s inner circle. On New Year’s Day, Boosie’s attorney allegedly received a call claiming Trump had already signed off on the pardon and that the White House simply hadn’t announced it yet. However, that pardon never came, and Boosie is now seeking to recover $300,000 under a contract clause he says entitled him to a partial refund if no pardon was delivered.

Wohl and Burkman have reportedly declined to pay, claiming no such refund agreement existed and that their firm is essentially out of money following unrelated legal fines. Burkman pushed back on the allegations directly to TMZ, saying, “Boosie has no reason to be unhappy. In 30 years of lobbying, I doubt we have ever done more work and harder work.” He added that an arrest earlier this year on an alleged violent crime charge in Texas complicated Boosie’s chances, saying, “We tried very, very hard.” But chile… a #WhiteHouse official cited in the NOTUS report denied any involvement by Wohl or Burkman in the clemency process, stating the pardon team had never heard from either man and warning their involvement could actually hurt an applicant’s odds.
