Actor Jared Leto Accused Of S3xually A$$aulting A 17-Year-Old, Grooming Teen Girls & Making Explicit Calls To Minors

Oscar-winning actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto is facing new allegations after a BBC documentary featured accounts from 10 women, including four who accuse him of conduct that could constitute criminal s3xual offenses.

According to the documentary, “Jared Leto: Hollywood’s Dark Secret,” the alleged incidents occurred between 2002 and 2016, when Leto was in his 30s and 40s. One woman alleges Leto s3xually a$$aulted her in a motel bathroom when she was 17. Another claims she had s3x with the actor in California when she was 17, below the state’s age of consent at the time. A third alleges Leto made repeated s3xually explicit phone calls to her when she was 16, while another claims he threatened her with s3xual a$$ault when she was 19. The documentary also includes allegations from additional women who say they received s3xually inappropriate calls from Leto while they were minors.

The BBC says it corroborated portions of several women’s accounts through interviews with friends and family members, as well as photographs, messages, and other supporting materials. Two former employees connected to Leto’s band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, also allege they were uncomfortable with the actor’s interactions with teenage girls backstage and at recording locations.

Variety reports it has reached out to Leto’s representatives for comment. As of publication, Leto has not publicly responded to the new allegations. However, after similar allegations surfaced in 2025, his representatives denied any wrongdoing, calling those claims “demonstrably false.”
