Brandon Clarke D*ed From Combined Effects Of Her*in & C*caine, Medical Examiner Says

Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke’s d*ath has officially been ruled an accidental overdose, nearly three months after the NBA player was found d*ad inside his Los Angeles-area home.

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, Clarke d*ed from the combined effects of her*in and c*caine. His cause and manner of d*ath were officially certified Friday, August 7, with authorities determining the 29-year-old’s d*ath was accidental.

Clarke was reportedly “found unresponsive” inside his bedroom around 5 p.m. on May 11. Paramedics were called to the residence and pronounced him d*ad at approximately 5:15 p.m.

At the time of his passing, investigators were reportedly looking into the possibility that Clarke had suffered an overdose, but an official cause had not yet been released.

Clarke’s sudden passing sent shockwaves through the basketball community. The professional basketball player had spent his NBA career with the Memphis Grizzlies after entering the league in 2019.
