Family Of Nolan Wells, Mississippi College Student Who Mysteriously Died During 4th Of July Boating Trip, Pens Heartfelt Message On What Would Have Been His 19th Birthday

#NolanWells’ family is honoring him on what would have been his 19th birthday.

The loved ones of the Mississippi college student shared a heartfelt message with CNN, remembering Nolan as an “amazing kiddo” who brought joy, laughter and happiness to those around him. They also reflected on the lessons he left behind, writing, “You have taught us so much about life and how everyday is a blessing and how we have to do better at just living in the moment.” Nolan was reported missing following a Fourth of July boating trip with friends to #HornIsland, a barrier island off Mississippi’s Gulf Coast. Two days later, on July 6, Nolan’s body was discovered.

The circumstances surrounding Nolan’s de@th remain under investigation. Many questions – including why his family had to track down his phone and why his text messages and Snapchat content appeared to have been deleted – remain unanswered. As his family continues to mourn, they closed their message with, “You are truly our angel. You will be missed every second of everyday and you will never be forgotten our sweet sonshine. Happy Heavenly 19th Birthday Nono.” Nolan’s family is continuing to seek answers about what happened to him.
