#LionelRichie has been hospitalized again, this time for treatment of atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat, forcing him and Earth, Wind & Fire to cancel the next three stops on their “Sing a Song All Night Long” tour, TMZ reports, citing sources with direct knowledge. Doctors are treating him with an AFib ablation — a minimally invasive procedure that creates small scars in the heart to block faulty electrical signals and restore a normal rhythm. The canceled shows were set for Saturday in #SanFrancisco, September 30 in #Chicago, and October 2 in Columbus, Ohio.

This marks Richie’s third hospitalization in as many months. He previously checked himself into a St. Louis hospital in late August after a concert, spending several days in the ICU for cardiac testing before being released. In June, he was rushed to a hospital by ambulance after feeling “dizzy” and “strange” during a concert in St. Paul, cutting the show short.
