Love-Don’t-Live-Here-Anymore: Chris Brown & Karrueche Officially Split
Chris Brown has released an official statement regarding the status of his relationship with Karrueche Tran. Rumors of the couple separating after (about) 2 years began when Chris and his ex-girlfriend Rihanna were spotted together three consecutive days in a row this week in New York. The two were rumored to have reconciled after Rihanna confessed her love for the superstar while on Oprah’s Next Chapter back in August.
Though the two were together over the weekend in Atlanta for a charity basketball game, subliminal tweets flew back and forth between Brown and Tran earlier in the week. Thursday morning, Chris finally released a statement addressing speculations. Chris said,
“I have decided to be single to focus on my career. I love Karrueche very much but I don't want to see her hurt over my friendship with Rihanna. I'd rather be single allowing us to both be happy in our lives.”
The break up comes after eyewitnesses allegedly seen Chris and Rihanna hugging, kissing and going into the back of the club alone together for an unspecified amount of time. What are your thoughts on Chris’ statement? Should he have ditched his relationship with Karrueche for a friendship with Rihanna? Will Chrianna resurrect?
P.S. Karrueche was spotted on her way to the airport leaving NY yesterday while Chris stayed behind. Is it just me or does she look a little distressed?

This is my first time seeing a clear picture of his gf. She is a pretty lady. I wish Rihanna and CB's "friendship" the best. They are young and enjoying life. Each have the freedom to love who they want. …. Come on now. You can't tell me EVERY single day Tran wasn't reminded of Rihanna and Chris and the possibility of them getting back together. I can't imagine seeing my man's beautiful and successful ex on tv, on the internet. Hearing her on the radio. #omnipresent She has more buzz than anyone. I just read she officially has the most "likes" on FB. That's tough competition. She chose to take the risk. And I'm sure the last two years have been awesome for this girl. All is fair in love. Its kind of sad she's getting dumped so publically but she is a beautiful girl. She'll love again.
