Iggy Azalea & NFL’er DeAndre Hopkins Confirm They’re Single, After Previously Admitting They Were Dating
A little innocent flirting online may have sparked dating rumors for Iggy Azalea and NFL baller DeAndre Hopkins. It all started when earlier this week, Hopkins posted a photo on Instagram with the caption,
“My Aussies call me Legend.”
Iggy, who is Australian, replied with the comment,
“I could think of a few other things to call you.”
Hopkins responded with the flirtatious comment with,
“I could think of a few to call you myself.”
Screenshots from the interaction went viral, which led Iggy Azalea to be questioned about the Houston Texans player in a recent interview.
This week, during a game of True or False with Y100 in Miami she seemed to confirm that she was dating the baller. When asked if she was dating DeAndre Hopkins, she answered,
“Yeah, we’re in a relationship.”

Under the comments of one of Iggy’s photos, an Instagram user asked Hopkins if Iggy was his girlfriend. He answered,
“yes indeed.”

However, something must have changed in a few short hours because on Thursday, Iggy and DeAndre are both telling the Internet that they’re single. According to Iggy on Twitter, she’s single and fine with it.

Hopkins tweeted (via the Shade Room),
“Y’all know I can care less about social media, but ya boi is SINGLE!!”

Were these two ever really dating? Are they just trying to keep things low? Who knows what the truth really is.
