Fantasia Goes On Social Media Rant: ‘Middle Finger To Those Who Seek to Destroy Me!’
Apparently, the negative attention that Fantasia received last week, about a reference to gay marriage via Instagram, has got the 29-year-old singer still pissed. To give you a backstory, last week, she made the following comment:
I Rise ABOVE IT ALL!!! THE WORLD IS GONE MAD. KIDS, THE GOVERMENT, THE church House… Everybody Trying!!!!!!! Its a lot that going on that the Bible speaks about we should Not be doing. Weed legal in some places, Gay Marriage Legal BUT YET IM JUDGED!!! Im not doing Nothing for you… My Life!!!!
She later clarified her comment, saying that she had no ill intentions when she referenced ‘gay marriage’ and suggested that the media was taking it out of context. Fast forward to the present day and apparently, Tasia is still catching heat. From who? We aren’t sure, but she went on a rant of sorts, writing:
Now im VERY UPSET!!!! BUT ITS COOL!! IM NOT THE SAME GIRL I USE TO BE. IVE BEEN HURT ENOUGH. IM A Grown Women thats been Hurt Enough now. FOOLISHNESS!!!! I APOLOGIZE TO ALL MY LOVES, ALLLL MY GAYS, QUEENS AND FAB FRIENDS WHO’S SEEING THIS NONSENSE RIGHT NOW. HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT THEY HAVE TRASHED ME SINCE THE DAY I STEPPED ON THE IDOL STAGE? HAVEN’T YOU ALSO NOTICED THAT I STILL HAVE NOT STOPPED. TO MY GAY MANAGER( IM OVER SEEING YOU WORK SO HARD) THOSE WHO NO ME NO I DONT JUDGE ANY 1 AND THAT I JUST WANT THEM TO STOP TRYING TO JUDGE ME. TO ALL THE BLOGGERS AND NEWS STATIONS GOD BLESS YOU TOO!! CAUSE YOU NEVER SUPPORT MY GOOD YOU JUST REPORT THE BAD. I DONT CARE WHO GETS MARRIED OR WHO YOU LAY WITH, HANG WITH OR WANT TO BE LIKE. ITS YOUR LIFE LIVE IT. NOW GO AHEAD TAKE THIS AND TURN IT AROUND BUT IM STILL HERE CAUSE GOD PUT ME HERE. She also wrote the following message:

fantasia you dont have to apology for nothing First off, she was using the gay comment as an example of her being judged harshly. She has always loved the gay community and has performed at gay pride in weho.? She said GAY MARRIAGE LEGAL AND YET I’M JUDGED. Read people, read. I didn’t take it offensively, cuz unlike some people I can connect the dots. If you were true fans, you would understand were she is coming from. You queens need to calm down, move on, and move up.

@Fantasia – girl get your life! You are a gorgeous powerhouse singer and I have loved you since American Idol. Calm down and stop sweating the small stuff. Instead rise above the hate and remember “they” talking about you, and you don’t even know who “they” are. Let’s grow a thicker skin in 2013.
Nothing wrong with you fannie, but that is YOUR conscious talking for you and to you… that is the bible telling you its wrong to commit adultery. you judge yourself by your own actions, so lashing out is your only issue. say what you say and stick to it. correcting situations has nothing to do with your grammar and or apologizing for what you said…but looking into your own issues of suicide attempts and a married man who fathered your child. no judgement from me, but you as a not that girl, is showing you are that girl…fix yourself for real and stop trying so hard to be heard. thats part of the business being in the public eye. (she really needs damage control or a -new- publicist).
