((Updated)) Joke Hustlin’…Why Kevin Hart & Wife Separated + Kevin Hart Gets Touchy Feely

Better late than never…In early November, we (or I) discovered that Kevin Hart and his wife, Torre Hart, were legally separated. Kevin and his wife, who have two children together, had been married for 11 years.

Back in 2009, Kevin discussed the key to a successful marriage sharing with Essence, “The reason I say that is because me and my wife are oblivious to the time and effort we put into making our marriage work. When couples start paying attention to how many years they’ve been together, then they lose sight of the future, because they are too busy paying attention to the past. If you’ve accomplished something and you make a big deal about it, then you’re acting like it’s not supposed to be that way. When people say to me and my wife, ‘Wow, you’ve been together for 11 years-that’s amazing!’ we just laugh and don’t say anything, because in our eyes it’s not supposed to be any other way. Any problem can be solved and couples need to learn to work through theirs.”

So why did the happy couple break-up? To date, although Kevin has made jokes about his failing marriage, neither (he or his wife) have spoken publicly about why their marriage ended. But according to Bossip, some slightly inappropriate photos circulated earlier this year–which may have contributed to whatever issues that they had.

In my mind, Kevin had a few drinks and like most men, likes to get all touchy feely, forgot he’s well known and didn’t see the camera phones snappin’ away. Oh, well…sh*t happens.
