The movie, “Night Catches Us,” takes place in 1976, after years of mysterious absence, Marcus (Anthony Mackie, “The Hurt Locker”) returns to the Philadelphia neighborhood where he came of age in the midst of the Black Power movement. The movie stars Mackie, Kerry Washington, Jamie Hector (“The Wire”), Wendell Pierce (“The Wire”) and Amari Cheatom, with music by The Roots. The  movie is now in theaters.
