Lil Boosie Indicted Again for Smuggling Drugs into Prison

It looks like Lil Boosie has added another charge to his criminal portfolio. On Thursday (July 14th), he was accused of trying to smuggle drugs into the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. A “confidential source” alerted officials that Boosie had instructed a friend to mix an ounce of codeine syrup into a soda bottle and deliver it to someone else. This person was supposed to give the syrup to an individual whom they thought was a security guard for the prison, but was actually a state trooper.

In addition to to this alleged charge, he also has a trial coming up for a murder charge in which he is accused of involvement in the shooting and killing of a 35 year old man. He also has been indicted for another drug conspiracy charge in which he is accused of bringing drugs into the Dixon Correctional Institute at Jackson. Boosie also pleaded guilty to marijuana possession in 2009. According to The Advocate
“The grand jury that indicted Hatch [Boosie] last year also charged the rapper with two counts of conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal institution, three counts of possession with intent to distribute narcotics, and three counts of conspiracy to commit possession with intent to distribute narcotics.”
Ouch.
