Prince Pissy About Perfume, Ordered to Pay $4 Mill

Earlier today, a judge in New York ordered Prince to pay roughly $4 million to a perfume company that sued him. Allegedly, Prince made Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics Inc. postpone the release of their fragrance that happened to don the same name as one of his albums, “3121“. The court decided Prince should pay $3.95 Million to the company, an amount being disputed by Prince‘s lawyers. Revelations Perfume and Cosmetics says it licensed Prince’s name, likeness and the album title “3121” to market its fragrance in 2006. They also reached out to the star to help promote the fragrance after it’s July 2007 launch but Prince didn’t make good on his promises.
