The REAL Reason T.I. Returned to Prison, Tour Bus Excluded

We, along with a number of other outlets, initially reported that Clifford Harris (rap name T.I.), was ordered to return back to prison because of an unapproved mode of transportation. It was believed that because he rode from prison in a tour bus, as opposed to a van, he had violated some type of pre-determined rule. At the time that this was reported, T.I.’s wife, Tiny, had also believed that this was the case. According to CNN, the reason that T.I. was forced to return to prison was because of WHO accompanied him, while he was transported from prison.

Prison officials objected to his manager and a reality TV producer riding with.  A Bureau of Prisons report obtained by CNN explained:

“Such people were not authorized to travel with him in the conditions of his furlough. He further indicated he was discussing a new reality series and a book with those individuals.”
