Humble-Pie :: AFL Offers to Pay Terrell Owens $400 Per Week
As some of you know, 37-year-old NFL’er Terrell Owens has been recovering from an ACL surgery, since injuring himself last season. The other day, Owens staged a workout for TV cameras and unfortunately no NFL scouts showed up. HOWEVER, he did get a potential offer from the Arena Football League (AFL). No NFL teams needed to show it was fully televised. Regardless of TO past and he has one. This guy is a Hall of Fame wide receiver. I think he should just retire. Him not finding a team is more need than skill. Hes a better WR than Ocho is now and was ever. In the league its all about timing.
They do get a pension, don’t they. He might as well retire and think about a new career.
