Reality Star Evelyn Lozada Jumps Into Literary Game, With New Book Series

Basketball Wives star, Evelyn Lozada, who is also engaged to NFL’er, Chad Ochocinco, is jumping into the literary and movie game. Over the summer, we learned that she’s landed a six-figure deal to develop literary and feature film projects. The book deal is with Cash Money Content, a book publishing arm of the record label Cash Money Records. Her first book series is called The Wives Association. This series will be co-authored by Courtney Parker (she formerly wrote for Law & Order: Criminal Intent, so Lozada is in good hands).

Of the book’s concept, she explained:
“The stories that you hear—what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle—I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels.”
On Why She Chose Cash Money Content As A Literary Home:
“By partnering with Baby and Cash Money Content, we have the potential to turn these ‘novels’ into a full-fledged brand. Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical.”
Sweet! Are we excited about her upcoming series or do we want her to stick to reality TV? [Hollywood Reporter]
