Jennifer Hudson Slams Called Off Engagement: “We never broke up.”

It’s been rumored for a while now, that Jennifer Hudson and her long time fiance David Otunga called off their engagement and broke up.  Hudson told Access Hollywood at the AMA’s,

“I know they said we had broken up. We never broke up.”

The singer went on to say the reason for the long engagement (since September 2008) is because of their busy schedules,

“We’re still here, but we’re very busy people. He’s always on the road, I’m always on the road.  We are together, we just do it at home in Chicago. That’s our meeting place.”

One thing’s for sure, When JHud decides to go ahead and tie the knot, it will definitely be in her hometown of Chicago.

“We’re going to get married, our wedding will be at home in Chicago, with family.”

Well, there you have it.  Wedding someday, just no date in sight.
