Cee Lo Green Lands His Own Reality TV Gig

Guess who’s putting his baby toe in the reality show game? 37-year-old Cee Lo Green (real Thomas DeCarlo Callaway) is set to hit the reality TV scene. The show will be called “Cee Lo Takes the U.K.” and will be shown on British television. Thanks to Cee Lo Green’s management company, Primary Wave Music, he no longer has to rely on record sales for financial success. To date, he’s raked in lucrative TV appearances and endorsement deals.

On increasing his business brand, he explained:
“There’s security in being a brand; there’s certainty in being a brand. McDonald’s is a brand. And when you get your fix for a Big Mac, where do you go? There’s only one place you can go for a Big Mac, and that’s big McDonald’s. But my brand has a broader horizon, because my brand is, ‘Whatever you think you want, I just may be able to give it to you.’ ”
No word on if those in the states will be able to peep his new reality gig, but I’m sure it’ll be UBER entertaining. [Hip-Hop Wired, NY Times]
