Rihanna Shows Softer Side, Visits Grandmother in New York Hospital

Even 24-year-old rockstars like Rihanna have a soft spot for family. Over the weekend, Rihanna flew from her Los Angeles home to New York, to visit her grandmother, who she affectionately calls “Dolly”. According to reports, Rihanna’s grandmother is currently suffering from cancer. RiRi tweeted the photo above sharing:

‘Came to NY, just for this moment right here!
