Love & Hip Hop’s Erica Mena Says Her Love With Rich Dollaz Is ‘The Real Deal’

Last week, the Jasmine Brand caught up with Love & Hip Hop’s Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz, at the screening of the new season of the popular VH1 reality show. In addition to exclusively learning that they were secretly engaged (since the interview, Rich denies the engagement, suggesting that he was being ‘sarcastic’, but that’s a whole OTHER story), we chatted with the two about their new relationship. This is the first time viewers are seeing you together in a romantic relationship, were you apprehensive at all about being romantic on camera?

I mean, yeah because people right away are going to assume the worst and not really give it an open-mind; especially [with] what happened last year and how we met. But overrall, it is what it is, and as far as our relationship, it is definitely the real deal. So what you see is what you get and we’re here and we’re together and we love it.

What is the biggest challenge in the relationship?

He’s extremely hard headed and passionate about work and so am I, so we constantly clash when it comes to work stuff. At the end of the day, it’s like sweet sex!

What do you love most about him?

He is a risk taker and he drinks more than I do.

And what do you love most about her?

That’s my b*tch. That’s my girl.
