Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Label Sued for Logo Use

A lifestyle brand company, called Volcom, has filed a lawsuit against Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. The lawsuit centers around the diamond logo that Roc Nation uses. Volcom’s logo, which was trademarked in 1991, is similar to the diamond that Roc Nation uses in ads. In addition to manufacturing clothes, Volcom also has a record label. According to the complaint, consumers are misguided when they (Roc Nation) use the logo without the words, “Roc Nation.” No word from Jigga’s camp yet. Source
