Another successful year for Alicia Keys’ ‘Keep A Child Alive Black Ball’.
Last night, the nonprofit celebrated its 10th anniversary at the annual Black Ball. The charity’s $5 million budget helps local clinics in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, South Africa and India with treatment programs, food assistance and orphan care. Performers included Carole King, Pharrell Williams (who performed ‘Blurred Lines’ with Alicia Keys), Roy Ayers and others. As customary, a number of celebs and do-gooders were in attendance including Alicia’s husband, Swizz Beatz, Clive Davis, Maxwell, Lala Anthony, singer Tamia and husband Grant Hill, Roc Nation’s Robinson Cano, Cole Cook and Pharrell’s wife Helen Lasichanh.
