Evelyn Lozada Announces Engagement to LA Dodgers Boyfriend Carl Crawford + See the RING!

Christmas day is full of surprises and usually a few engagements here and there. And there’s a new celeb that’s sporting some new bling on this special holiday. Basketball Wives reality star Evelyn Lozada is engaged to her boyfriend LA Dodgers player Carl Crawford, who also happens to be the father of her unborn child. This afternoon, she announced the engagement on twitter, with

a photo of the ring, writing:

Yes!!!

Reportedly, the engagement went down as they shared Christmas together in Arizona where they both reside.

So guess who designed Evelyn’s fancy bling? None other than Jason Arasheben. If his name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s the same jewelry designer who was responsible for Gabrielle Union’s ring (she literally just got engaged a few days ago). According to TMZ, the ring is 14.5 carats and is worth $1.4 MILLION! After sharing a photo of her ring, she tweeted him:

Evelyn’s life coach, Tony Gaskins, shared his excitement tweeting:

Evelyn’s engagement isn’t much of a surprise. Last month during an interview with omg Insider! she said that she wasn’t opposed to jumping the broom again:

I definitely would get married again. I still believe in love…I’m not one of those people that’s like ‘we need to get engaged, we need to get married.’ No, absolutely not. I feel like that’s going to come, just like with the baby, let it come. I’m not forcing anything, so if it happens, it happens.

A few days ago we shared some unfortunate news between Carl and his baby-mama Amy Freeman (who he shares two children with). Amy is attempting to relocate from Arizona to the state of California and Carl is asking a judge to block the request. [Click here for the backstory]. This is Evelyn’s second marriage. She was briefly married to Chad Ochocinco Johnson. From what we’re told, this is Carl’s first marriage.

Evelyn (who is 7 months pregnant) and Carl are expecting a baby in February 2014. Congrats to the couple!
