After making history as the first transgender on the cover of TIME and nominated for an upcoming Critics Choice Award, Laverne Cox visited the Wendy Williams Show, for a short ‘How You Doin’ session. On not discussing her cosmetic surgery:
I’ve chosen not to talk about any of the stuff I’ve gotten done because I think so often when transpeople’s experiences are talked about, they always far too often focus on surgery and transition so I don’t talk about that but I’m very happy with the situation.
