Sports journalist Stephen A. Smith has come under fire, after his recent comments on ESPN First Take.

Smith and Skip Bayless were having a discussion about NFL player Ray Rice’s suspension for domestic violence (he has been suspended for the first two games of this season as a result of his altercation with then-fiancée Janay Palmer at an Atlantic City hotel in February).

During part of the conversation Smith adamantly expressed his disapproval for men in this situation, but also noted that women should also try not to provoke men.

    Stephen A runs his mouth too much.I watch his show First take often.He doesn’t know when to stop.

    He is still saying the same thing and disguising it in between the lines. Read it! It still sounds like he is saying women provoke the situation.
