(EXCLUSIVE) 50 Cent Blames Floyd Mayweather’s Jail Sentence For His Boxing Company Failing
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) is blaming Floyd Mayweather’s 2012 jail sentence – which he served after pleaded guilty to domestic violence – as one of the reasons his boxing company failed and is drowning in debt, claiming the boxer was suppose to help launch the company but instead was incarcerated.
50 Cent’s boxing company SMS Promotions filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy earlier this month stating it had between $100K – 600K in debt — only 3 years after it launched strong by signing champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, James Kirkland and Andre Dirrell. 50 Cent’s attorney stated at the time of the filing that the business was dedicated to staying open and only filed for bankruptcy to “reorganize and emerge as a stronger company.”
